Dr. Levy
Thank you so much for everything you have taught me. From showing a BS major that opera could be cool, to checking up on me a year later and helping me find my way at Wake, you have been the best mentor any student could ask for. You've helped me believe in myself, and encouraged me to dream bigger than I thought possible. Thank you. Drs. Dolly McPherson, may she rest in peace, and Anne Boyle taught me to how to read. Dr. Eva Rodtwitt taught me how to read French. You three professors were able to convert a science and quant guy into seeing that words really do "say things, and say things that matter." Thank you for all for your time, care, love and immeasurable commitment to all of us. I wont say the "conversion" was easy, but I will say it was all worth it!
Hey Dr. Hans,
Thanks for being an unorthodox provoker of thought. You've made me feel comfortable speaking my occasionally/repeatedly/consistently politically incorrect, swear-word ridden mind, and I feel like I've grown as a student and as a writer. Thank you for encouraging me in writing my thesis and going on to graduate school. I feel like I don't get much encouragement outside my parents, so I value you and your words. In short- thank you. Thanks Dr. Charles Bowen! Your love of music and love for your students is amazing,! You are truly amazing and I am very thankful to have the opportunity to know you and be part of your SOTOGAB family
To Paul Jones for being funny and helpful. Organic Chemistry wouldn't be anywhere near as interesting without your special spin on things. Thank you for making it fun to come to class each day. Susan Harlan is one of the most fantastic people ever! She's gorgeous and hilarious. I love taking her English class and her help on our papers has been life (paper?) changing. You go Sue!
Alan Williams,
You're the best and my time in London would not have been the same without you! Thank you for your sense of humor and for sincerely caring about your students. Dr. Roniger Professor Webb,
I really appreciate all of the time you have taken with me to learn about elliptic curves. Your love of the subject is inspiring! Dr. Rob Erhardt is the absolute man. His enthusiasm in the classroom and comical quips make every statistics class the best part of my day. Thanks DR. ROB!
Professor Whittaker taught me that we don't see the world in the way that it actually is. He inspired me to look at other religion courses and maybe even change my potential major to religious studies. The "rants" he goes on in class make me rethink a lot of my opinions and perceptions, both about religion (which actually isn't a real thing) and about the modern world and society (which is also not a real thing). I've become a much more open minded and intellectual person by taking his class, and every day I come back to my dorm to brag about how amazing my professor is and all that I've recently discovered from class. I may even one day become a religion professor because of Professor Whittaker, and I am extremely grateful to him for that.
Dr. Way Professor Dalton,
Your enthusiasm is unparalleled. You make Economics awesome! Dear Dr. Jeremy Rouse,
I want to thank you for your teaching and efforts to help us. I really appreciate the opportunity working with you and I really enjoy the experience. I hope you have a great semester! #wfutaughtme that integrity matters Professor Hardcastle is one of the most down to earth and hilarious professors I have ever had. She makes every topic we address in class fun and engaging. She is easy to talk to, approachable, and gives the best advice. To put it simply, she is just SO cool. I am so lucky to have had her as a professor, adviser, and friend! Every Spanish major or minor should take her. Thanks for instilling a passion for Spanish in me and countless other students.

Pat Lord's cheerfulness is infectious. It makes all the difference when a professor is passionate about what they do. When someone appreciates their life, they are better able to appreciate others, and Pat Lord certainly demonstrates this.
It is obvious she enjoys what she does; she inspires her students to do the same. Professor Gunkel, To Dr. William Hamilton: Thank you for your wisdom, humor, chess board, mandolin, and pipe smoke. Oh yeah, and your concern for your fellow man. Thank you for allowing me to take up too much time in your office, and mostly to see that you can't sweat the small stuff. I can say - and do whenever possible - if it weren't for your influence, guidance, patience, and ability to communicate with dummies (me), I would not have a Wake Forest degree. May the Provost approve your greatest course, "Squirrel Watching 101, 201, 301, and 401" for all future Demon Deacons. When it becomes a graduate level class, I will be the first to sign up!
Professor Luis Gonzalez in the Spanish department is like family to me. Not only does he put 100% into teaching here at Wake Forest, he is also dedicated to building relationships outside the classroom. I love this guy!
The professors at Wake Forest throughout my time here have been great. Any time, and I truly mean any time, that I have needed help, a professor has been available to help me. I would attribute all of my success to the helpful nature of my professors. Here at Wake, it seems like they truly want you to succeed and I truly love that about Wake Forest.
Dr. Rives,
Thank you being such a wonderful professor and being committed to helping your students learn. Your enthusiasm for chemistry made me excited to pursue it as a major and future career! Dr. Barefield, thank you for it all. Dear Dr. Whaples,
Thank you so much for making every econ class a highlight to my day. I can tell that you genuinely care about all of the students in your class, and your concern is much appreciated! Hashtag Challenge Day 11
